The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is generally the least understood of the executive positions within a company. This presentation focuses on the role of the CFO in companies that are experiencing rapid change. It discusses how a CFO sets priorities, what work a CFO’s people should and shouldn’t be doing, and how the CFO’s focus must change with a changing company. If you understand the pressures facing a CFO and what motivates them, working in accounting and finance can be one of the most rewarding positions within a company. Mr. Moore has led companies from early stage to initial public offering twice in the past 15 years and will discuss how the CFO’s focus, role and responsibilities evolve with the changing needs of a company.
