6-week Online Course on Mindfulness includes two different ways to meditate: mindful breathing and mantra-based, and six deep dives into pranayama or breathing techniques.
You must attend four of the six live sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
Classes are Sundays at 2 pm EST. Sessions will be recorded.
Here's what we'll cover:
Session One - What is mindfulness? What are breathing techniques? What is meditation?
Session Two - Anatomy of the Breath. Can breathing techniques help you relax and release stress and worry?
Session Three - How to breathe: Four Stages of Breath. Ujjayi Pranayama, Nadi Shodhana, Anulom Vilom, Kapalbhati
Session Four - Breath and Stress Relief, Brief introduction to Mantra
Session Five - How to prepare for meditation. Do you empty the mind during meditation? What is the goal of meditation?
Session Six - Will meditation stop overthinking? How do you meditate with movement?
